Belline Oracle Book (Methodology and Comparison)

This famous Oracle is named after the famous French seer Belline, who exercised his art for more than thirty years from the 1950s on.

He himself recounts how, on one occasion, one of his consultants who, for health reasons, was going to retire to live in the countryside, called him to examine certain books and papers from which she intended to part, in case any might be of interest to him. And that's how examining a drawer full of papers and decks discovered a game that instantly fascinated him.

It was a mysterious manuscript signed by one of the greatest seers of the 19th century: Edmond Billaudot.

Edmond had been a disciple of the famous Mademoiselle Lenormand and his clients included such notable characters as Napoleon III, Alexander Dumas and Victor Hugo.

The simplicity and beauty of the oracle created by Billaudot totally captivated Belline, who in 1961 made him edit with his name.

The Oracle Belline, which fuses tarot and astrology, is not intended to discover the future but rather to be an instrument capable of illuminating our hidden constructions, both conscious and unconscious.

In this sense, it allows the consultant to feel that in his hands he is taking one path or another, that the destination is not always something fiercely pre-established and that, in most cases, it is we who are forging it with our actions.
