Antiguo Tarot de Marsella Nicolás Conver "Collection"
It consists of 78 letters plus brochure with instructions in Spanish.
Nicolás Conver began to print his Marseilles Tarot game in 1760 using the wooden molds he had engraved. The edition of the Tarot of 1760 was painted according to the technique of the template, or technique of the perforated cardboard.
It contained abundantly blue sky and green.
The Conver-Camoin factory continued to print these games with the same wooden molds and with the same colors for more than a century.
A century later, the wooden molds were spent consumed and the games that were printed contained faults with respect to that of the 1760 edition.
We present here an edition of the Tarot de Marseille by Nicolás Conver, which was printed in the second half of the 19th century, when molds were widely used. Some years later, with the arrival of printing machines in four colors of the industrial revolution, we see the appearance of a new edition of Nicolás Conver's Tarot in which the green color and the sky blue color have disappeared.
